Soil survey of the Burdekin River Irrigation Area, North Queensland, Inkerman West and Central sections - INK

This publication set is a soil survey of the Burdekin River Irrigation Area, Inkerman West and Central sections, North Queensland. The study area covers part of the Gregory Ranges (8358-2) 1:50,000 map sheets. Approximately 9,300 hectares of land were mapped at a scale of 1:25,000 and land suitability for a range of crops was evaluated. Approximately 1830 sites were assessed using the free survey method and 72 soils were identified. This project is part of a series conducted across the Burdekin River Irrigation Area.
