Understanding the economics of grain cropping management practices and systems for improving water quality run-off in the Great Barrier Reef catchment areas
This report was completed as part of QDAFs obligations under Action 2.4 of the Reef Water Quality Protection plan which aims to 'identify and address barriers to change and practice improvement uptake through programs and policy'. Specifically it addresses the deliverable to 'conduct economic evaluations to validate the economics of management practices that improve water quality and provide information to landholders as part of the extension program' with respect to the grains industry in all the Great Barrier Reef catchment areas.
