Queensland Small Business Procurement Commitment

The Queensland Government is committed to supporting small businesses to start, grow and employ. As part of this commitment we want to make sure small businesses can share in the investment we make in our people and our growing economy. The government’s multi-billion-dollar investment in goods and services must benefit as many Queensland businesses and workers as possible. Supporting small businesses to access government investment in goods and services through procurement recognises the contribution they make to our communities across Queensland.

To start the conversation we have released a consultation paper for a Queensland Small Business Procurement Commitment. It has our ideas on how small business can be supported to access opportunities however, we need your feedback on how we can make government procurement opportunities easier.
