Low-cost drip irrigation – economic case study, Burdekin region
Grower case study examining the costs to install a drip irrigation system on a sugarcane farm in the Burdekin and the differences in growing costs between a furrow irrigation system and a drip irrigation system. Based on these costs, the study calculates the yield improvement needed to recover the investment into drip irrigation.
