Executive Summary BYDC-CYDC-WMYDC Inspection Report, March 2022

This is a joint report of quarterly statutory inspections of Brisbane, Cleveland, and West Moreton Youth Detention Centres (BYDC, CYDC, and WMYDC). The on-site inspections occurred from 7 to 11 March 2022 at BYDC, 14 to 18 March 2022 at CYDC, and 21 to 24 March at WMYDC. Statutory detention centre inspections are conducted by delegated inspectors, located within Learning and Development, Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs (DCYJMA). This report is provided to the Director-General and aims to contribute to improving youth detention centre operations.
