Acid sulfate soils of the Maryborough area, South East Queensland - MAC

This publication set comprises general soils mapping for the Maryborough area, reinterpreted for acid sulfate soils hazard. The survey examined approximately 90,250 hectares of land and mapped it at a medium scale (1:50,000). Since this coverage is based on reinterpreted historical soils data, the extent of the ASS depicted may be an underestimate. In addition, no acid sulfate soil-specific borehole descriptions or laboratory data exist for this area, and no report accompanies the map. Further information is available in the publication set 'Soils and Agricultural Suitability of the Hervey Bay Area, South East Queensland - MHB'.
