Home Secretary's Office - 1896-1903
The correspondence records (1896-1903) of the Home Secretary’s Office are a valuable source of information relating to Queensland Aboriginal peoples in the nineteenth century. There are also several references to Torres Strait Islanders, mainly in the reports from the Government Resident at Somerset (Cape York) and the Government Resident on Thursday Island.
