Lakeland Downs Land Resource Areas, Far North Queensland - LAK

This publication set describes the land resources of the basalt lands around the township of Lakeland Downs in Far North Queensland, with particular focus on the soils. Approximately 8,000 hectares were mapped at 1:100,000 scale during 1994. The landscape was assessed using the traverse survey method and seven Land Resource Areas were identified.
