Western Arid Region Land Use Study (WARLUS), South West Queensland Part 2 - BWA2

This publication set describes a reconnaissance land systems study of approximately 10 million hectares (100,000 square kilometres) of pastoral land in South West Queensland. The study area extends from Blackall and Adavale west to the Diamantina River and Haddon Corner. This region falls largely in the 200-400 mm rainfall zone. Geologically the area is part of the Eromanga Basin sequence within the Great Artesian Basin. The lands of the area have been mapped into 61 land systems at a scale of 1:500,000.
