Queensland drink driving review

In 2010, crashes involving drink drivers caused the deaths of 50 people, accounting for 20.1% of all road fatalities in Queensland during that period. Additionally, more than 29,000 drink driving offences were detected in Queensland that year.

In line with our commitment to engaging with the community, the Queensland Government reviewed its current approach to addressing drink driving and crafted a discussion paper to seek input on various potential initiatives related to this issue.
