Recognise sex of child (under 16) born or adopted outside Queensland application (Form 21B)
On 24 June 2024, new laws started that affect having the sex your child identifies as recognised in Queensland if they are under 16, were born outside of Queensland and have lived in Queensland for the past 12 months (and currently live here).
You will be able to fill-in an application and pay online, visit www.qld.gov.au/RDCchild.
Use this form if you are unable to fill in the application form online to recognise your child's sex if they were born outside of Queensland.
