Acknowledgement of sex Queensland born or adopted child (under 16) application (Form 20B)

On 24 June 2024, new laws started that affect changing the sex recorded on your child's Queensland birth certificate if they are under 16.

You are able to fill-in an application and pay online, visit www.qld.gov.au/AOSchild.

Use this form if you are unable to fill in the application form online to alter your child's recorded sex on their birth certificate.
