Special Leases
Research Guide to special lease records at Queensland State Archives.
Special Leases were granted under the provisions of the Land Act 1910–1962 for a period not exceeding thirty years. Purposes for which Special Leases were granted included for business, manufacturing, residential use and racecourse or other recreational use. Terms and conditions were at the discretion of the granting authority.
