Soil and Vegetation Survey of Batavia Downs, Far North Queensland - BAT

This publication set is a soil and vegetation survey of the property 'Batavia Downs', Far North Queensland. The study area covers parts of the Batavia Downs and Moreton (7472, 7473) 1:100,000 map sheets. Approximately 200,600 hectares of land were mapped in 1991 at a scale of 1:250,000 and suitability for some land uses was evaluated. Sites were assessed using the free survey method and 17 soil associations were identified.
