Soil survey of the Elliot River-Bowen area, North Queensland - BER

This publication set is a soil survey of the Elliot River-Bowen area, North Queensland. Approximately 107,000 hectares of land were mapped at 1:100,000 scale. The study area covers parts of the Bowen, Bogie, Abbot Point and Cape Upstart (8557, 8457, 8558, 8458) 1:100,000 map sheets. Nearly 300 sites were assessed using the free survey method and 51 soil profile classes were identified.
