Soil survey of the Burdekin River Irrigation Area, North Queensland, Selkirk Section - SLK

This publication set is a soil survey of the Burdekin River Irrigation Area, Selkirk section, North Queensland. The study area covers part of the Giru (8358-4) 1:50,000 map sheet. Approximately 5,600 hectares of land were mapped at a scale of 1:25,000 and land suitability for a range of crops was evaluated. Approximately 1050 sites were assessed using the free survey method and 88 soils were identified. This project is part of a series conducted across the Burdekin River Irrigation Area.
