Soil survey of the Cape York Peninsula, Far North Queensland - CYP

This publication set is a soil survey of the Cape York Peninsula, Far North Queensland. The study area covers the entire mainland area from 16 degrees S to Cape York, excluding most of the near-coastal islands. Approximately 132,500 square kilometres of land were mapped at a broad scale of 1:250,000 in the early 1990's. Over 900 sites were assessed using the free survey method and 113 soils were identified.
