Soil and land use survey of part of the Dawson River valley, Central Queensland - DAW

This publication set is a soil survey of part of the Dawson River Valley, Central Queensland. The study area covers parts of the Cracow, Theodore, Banana, Moura, and Baralaba (8947, 8948, 8949, 8848, 8849) 1:100,000 map sheets. Approximately 200,000 hectares of land were mapped at a broad scale of 1:250,000 during 1957. Sites were assessed using the free survey method and 18 soil types were identified.
