Soil survey of the St George Irrigation Area, Southern Queensland - SGI

This publication set is a soil survey of the St. George Irrigation Area, Southern Queensland. The study area covers part of the St George (8641) 1:100,000 map sheet. Approximately 68,000 hectares of land were mapped at a scale of 1:150,000 and land suitability for a variety of crops was evaluated. Sites were assessed using the free survey method and 15 soils were identified.
